In the 1980’s, I started a company that represented entertainers, produced concerts and entertainment events for well-known entertainers such as Héctor Lavoe, the Gran Combo, Rubén Blades and Willy Colón. I remained in this business for close to 15 years.
Later on, I worked for several large companies. I served as events coordinator and manager of telemarketing.
In the late 1990’s, I began to do some work for politicians. I began by organizing poll worker teams for each of the polls in the candidate’s district, distributing water and food to poll workers during the long hours of election days, and eventually managing the payroll for the poll workers. Then, in 2006, I went in full force assisting in political campaigns in Miami-Dade County and eventually participating in some campaigns in Broward and Monroe Counties. I concentrated most of my effort in Miami- Dade County and launched a political division and have been working for elected officials and candidates for public office and referendum campaigns. I now have a long list of clients whom I helped get elected and who have kept me working for them once they are in public office. I assist them in providing activities that help them stay in touch with their constituents.
I hope to continue helping good individuals get elected to represent our communities and to help the public officials remain aware of the needs of the communities they serve. I provide a voice and bridge to connect the constituents to the individuals who represent them in our local, state and federal governments.
Besides the work I do for politicians, I also work for other clients. I help introduce new products and venues to our senior population.
It is an honor and privilege to be involved in my line of work. Sometimes, I can help seniors and children in need connect with my clients to help them receive the assistance they require. In my line of work, I get to see some lives change forever, both lives of citizens and government officials. My line of work is satisfying and rewarding. I thank God every day for the opportunities given to me!
